HOSMAT EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE opened its doors to the first batch of students in the year 1997, started by Dr. Thomas A Chandy - Chairman of HOSMAT Hospital, with an aim to serve health care needs to the community through education and training of Nursing physiotherapy, Radiology, Operation Theatre and Laboratory. The mission of the institute is to:Provide Leadership, Manangement and Resources for the Advancement of Education, Scholarship and Public Service.

NURSING COLLEGE

HOSMAT Hospital College of Nursing (affiliated to HOSMAT Hospital) provides an ideal environment to educate nurses who will be able to work effectively anywhere in the world. The college has a placement program (U.S. Benefit of Placement Program).The College of Nursing is located in a building of 10,000 sq ft, near HOSMAT Hospital (a 500-bed, prestigious hospital in the center of Bangalore with twelve operation theatres and twenty five ICU beds).

Objectives :

  1. To prepare competent nursing professionals who are skilled in all aspects of comprehensive care to the patients, family and community - both in sickness and in health.
  2. To provide opportunities for gaining knowledge and experience, not only in the classroom but also in clinical areas. This will enable the nurses to function efficiently
  3. To empower the nurses to volunteer for leadership positions in teaching and nursing practice in hospitals and community health agencies.

Course of Study :

B.Sc. (Nursing) Degree Course: This program leads to a Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) degree of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. After completing this course the nurses will:
  1. Know the fundamental and scientific principles of comprehensive nursing care
  2. Demonstrate skilled nursing care to people of all ages both in a hospital and in the community
  3. Demonstrate leadership qualities both in the hospital and in the community.
  4. Recognize the need for continued learning and seek further educational opportunities.

Duration :
Four Years

Admission Requirements Candidates must:
1. Be single and should have completed 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
2. Have passed the Pre-university Examination of Karnataka Board of Pre-university Education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Any other equivalent examination as recognized by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences
3. Have secured a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Tribes of Karnataka State should have secured a minimum of 40% marks in these subjects
4. The candidates should have good health and moral character.

Prospectus and Application Form

The Prospectus and Application form can be obtained from the Principal, College of Nursing, HOSMAT Hospital Educational Institute by submitting a DD for Rs. 100/- drawn in favour HOSMAT EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE
The completed Application form together with the copies of the following enclosures should reach the Principal, College of Nursing on or before June 30, 2004. (Do not enclose originals.)

  1. Two Self- addressed and stamped (Rs 5/- each) envelopes.
  2. Six recent passport-size photographs
  3. Copies of qualifying examination certificates and certificates showing date of birth.
  4. Caste Certificate, if Scheduled Caste/ Schedule Tribe.
  5. Copy of Transfer Certificate from school/university
  6. Character Certificate from the head of the institution (school/university)
  7. Completed hall ticket

Selection and Admission

  1. The candidates who meet the above requirements are requirements should appear for an entrance test in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and General Knowledge. The standard of the test will be of the same standard as Pre-university.
  2. The Entrance test will be conducted at the HOSMAT College of Nursing, Bangalore. (Dates will be intimated by post) There is an Entrance fee of Rs 100/- for this exam. This fee has to be paid on the day of the entrance test.
  3. The candidates called for the Entrance test should present their Hall Tickets at the entrance examination hall.
  4. The candidates who pass the Entrance test will be called for an interview and medical check up at the HOSMAT College of Nursing. The candidates called for interview should produce the following original certificates:
      a. Birth /Baptism
      b. Mark list of PUC/Other qualifying examination
      c. Domicile certificate (if from Karnataka)
      d. Caste cerfiticate (if SC/ST/BC)
      e. Conduct certificate
      f. Physical fitness certificate
      g. If foreign student:
      1. Visa
      2. No Objection Certificate from Government of India
      3. Eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
  5. The list of selected candidates will be announced within two days after the completion of the interview. Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for accommodation during the interview.
  6. The final selection will be based on the interview, performance at the entrance test, previous record and physical check-up.
  7. The selected candidates are required to sign a letter of acceptance and pay the fees for the first year on the same day that the final results are announced. Failure to comply with this will result in cancellation of the admission.
  8. The fees paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  9. The candidates who do not receive any information regarding Entrance test and interview should consider that they have not been selected. The college will not entertain any correspondence in this matter.
  10. The admission granted is provisional until the following certificates are produced and the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences approves the candidate's admission

    > b. Migration Certificate (for candidates who have completed the qualifying exam outside Karnataka

  11. Admission is subject also to execution to serve HOSMAT for one year as internship and one year bond on successful completion of the course.
    Accomodation : All students are expected to live in the college hostel. However students living in Bangalore, have the option to be day scholars. All rules and regulations of the hostel must be strictly followed.

    Examinations :
    1. The candidates will appear for theory and practical examination conducted by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences at the end of every Academic Year.
    2. Internal Assessment tests will be conducted in each subject at prescribed times as Sessional exams. These exams carry 20 % weightage of the total marks.
    3. The candidates will have to pay the examination fees as determined by the University.

    Post-course Service :
    After successfully completing the course, the nursing graduate is expected to complete an internship of one year and then serve a bond of one year at HOSMAT Hospital or at a Community center as decided by the management.
    During this service period, a salary as determined by the management will be paid to the nursing graduate. Failure to comply with this service will involve a penalty of Rs. 1,00,000/- as specified in the bond to be executed by the students before being admitted to the course.
    Exemption from this service is not granted, ordinarily. Hence candidates should join the course, only after assuring the management that this service is possible.

    CGFNS/IELTS Coaching During the Internship and Bond :

    HOSMAT Hospital is one of the few hospitals in Bangalore that has an established Nurses Placement Program. HOSMAT students of nursing, during their years of internship bonded service can join the coaching class and training programme to pass the CGFNS/IELTS (Medical and English) and NCLEX-RN. After passing these exams, they can be placed by HOSMAT in the U.S. at no charge. Nursing students at other institutions are charged heavily for this placement. This placement service starts in the first year. The placement exam consists of multiple choice questions, as well as an exam in English. Candidates who pass these exams will be placed by HOSMAT in a hospital in the U.S.

    General Information :
    1. Vacation/Leave : Vacation will be granted according to the regulations of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

    2. Special Leave : Such leave will be granted in the case of serious illness or death in the immediate family member only. The genuineness of the ground for leave must be certified to the satisfaction of the management. This period of leave will be deducted from the annual leave that is normally granted, If leave is taken because of the candidate's illness, HOSMAT doctors have to certify the illness.

    3. Attendance : Students are expected to be regular and punctual at lectures and other academic activities. This includes practicals, fieldwork, and demonstrations.
    They are required to attend all allotted working periods in each of the prescribed subjects. If students absent themselves from classes, they must give a Leave of Absence application, with reasons, to the principal.
    Unauthorized leave may lead to suspension.
    Students whose conduct, attendance or progress is not satisfactory, will not be permitted to appear for University Examination and are also liable to be asked to leave the college/discontinue the course.

    4. Withdrawals : If any student decides to withdraw voluntarily from HOSMAT Educational Institute after the preliminary period or any time before completing the course, she/he should pay back to the college the money spent on her/him by this institution.

    5. Uniform : HOSMAT Educational Institute will provide uniforms to the students on payment. Students should wear the prescribed uniform for duty at the hospital and while serving in the community.

    6. Member-SNA & CNGI : All students are required to become active members of the Student Nurses Association (SNA) Catholic students are additionally expected to become active members of the Catholic Nurses Guild of India (CNGI), The membership fees payable are nominal.

    Other Rules
    1. Students must carry their identity cards with them at all times.
    2. Students should maintain discipline inside the college, its associated institution and in public places.
    3. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited in the college, hostel and outside working hours.

    PHYSIOTHERAPY - Bachelor in Physiotherapy

    Physiotherapy is system of Health-care delivery which detects, diagnoses and treats physical and physiological dysfunctions using physical modalities such as Exercises, Mechanical forces, Heath and Cold therapy, Electricity, Sound, Light, Water etc. Physiotherapy's approach is that of holistic patient care leading to Pyscho-Physiological restoration and rehabilitation. Physiotherapy system is valuable in acute, convalescent as well as chronic stages of diseases/ disorders. It is used as a adjunct in Intensive care and acute stages along with Medical / Surgical regime. It has an important preventive role in the maintenance of health and fitness.

    Physiotherapy is a drug free system. In order to meet the growing demand for qualified and trained para-medical personnel, such training in Physiotherapy can be imparted to the eligible and interested students who after completion of their course should be able to accept certain degree of responsibilities in their work under minimum supervision and thus constitute an important section of medical auxillary personnel. These para-medical personnel can render valuable assistance in health care delivery to the public at large including the vast rural segment of the population will in terms of detection, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases.

    Scope :

    As per National Sample Survey organization Report (1991) 8% of the nation's population has Locomotor Disabilities. The demand for physiotherapy is very vast. The Government policy is to provide physiotherapy services in its three-tier health care delivery system. Physiotherapist have Employment Opportunities with Speciality Hospitals in government and Private Sectors. Government Health Services also need physiotherapists at a chain of District Rehabilitation Centres at Secondary levels and Primary Health Centres at tertiary levels. Many Non Government Organisations (NGOs) engaged in the rehabilitation of the disabled call upon the services of physiotherapists.

    Objectives of the course

    Physiotherapy is rapidly emerging as an important allied subject of medicine. It not only deals with rehabilitation but also evaluates and treat people with problems resulting from injuries or disease and also deals with prevention. It is said that physician add years to life while physiotherapists adds life to years.

    1. Independent assessment and evaluation and develop plans and goals of treatment programme for the patient.
    2. Manage the physiotherapy units (Electrotherapy Exercisetherapy Hydrotherapy, Biofeedback and rehabilitation unit) confidently with adequate knowledge to handle, operate and take care of various equipments.
    3. Develop initiative and competence in order to avail self employment opportunities.

    Eligibility :

    Candidates who have passed Pre-University Examination of Karnataka Pre-University Board with English and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects or equivalent examination and with 45 percent marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. In case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes the minimum percentage of marks shall be 40 percent in the qualifying subjects.

    A candidate seeking admission to Bachelor of Physiotherapy course, should have completed 17 years of age, as 31 st December of the year of admission, Every candidate before admission to the course shall furnish to Principal of the Institution, a certificate of Medical fitness from an authorized Government Medical Officer to the effect, where that the candidates is physically fit to undergo the Physiotherapy course.

    Admission Requirements : The candidates called for interview should produce the following certificates.

    1. Eligibility cerficate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science.
    2. Marks card of X & XII
    3. Conduct Certificates
    4. Migration Certificates
    5. Caste Certificates (SC/ST/OBC)
    6. Transfer certificate
    7. Stamp Size & passport size photographs (6 each)
    8. If foreign student - visa, No objection certificate form Government of India,Eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science.
    9. Copy of prospectus and application form can be obtained from the Principal College of Physiotherapy HOSMAT Hospital Educational Institute by submitting DD for Rs. 100 (along with postal charge of Rs. 30/- in favour HOSMAT College of Physiotherapy.

    Duration of the course :

    The duration of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy Course shall be four years including internship of six months.

    Medium of Instruction :

    English shall be the medium of instruction for all the subjects of study and for the examination of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course.

    ATTENDANCE: A candidate is required to attend at least 80 percent of the total classes conducted in a year in all subjects prescribed to that year, separately, in theory and practical/ clinical to become eligible to appear for the university examination in the first attempt.

    Internal Asessment :

    It shall be based on evaluation of periodic tests of assignments, clinical presentations etc. Regular periodic examinations will be conducted throughout the course. There will be a minimum of at least three (3) sessional examination during I, II and final year and two sessional examinations in III year.

    Schedule of Examination :

    There will be two examinations in a year, 1) an annual examination and 2) a supplementary examination.

    First, Second, Third and Final Examinations Bachelor of (Physiotherapy) course shall be held at the end of 1st year, 2nd year, 2 1/2 year and 3 1/2 year respectively. The particulars of subjects for various examinations and distribution of marks are shown separately in Tables V to VIII.

    Carry Over :

    I Year (5 main subjects): A candidate who had failed in I year is permitted to carry any two of the five main subjects and shall have to pass these subjects before appearing for the II year examination. Subsidiary subject - English may be carried over by a candidate who has failed in that subject but he/she shall have to pass before final year.

    II year (4 main subjects): A candidate failing in any one of the main subjects in II year is permitted to carry over the main subject, but has to pass the subject before appearing for FINAL year examination. BIO Engineering, Management including Research Methodology and Ethics are subsidiary subjects and may be carried over by a failed candidate in those subjects but shall have to pass before final year.

    III year (5 main subjects): A candidate is permitted to carry any two of the failed subjects and shall have to pass these subjects before appearing for the final year examinations.

    Internship :

    There shall be six months of Internship after the final examination for candidates declared to have passed the examination in all the subjects. Internship should be done in a teaching hospital recognized by the University. No candidate shall be awarded a degree certificate without successfully completing six months of internship. The Internship will be rotatory and cover clinical branches concerned with Physiotherapy such as Orthopaedics, Cardiothoracic including ICU, Leprosy, Paediatrics, General Medicine., Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology.

    Criteria for pass :

    A. Main Subjects
    A candidate is declared to have passed an examination in a subject, if she/he secures 50% of the theory aggregate and 50% in practicals separately. To pass theory, a candidate has to secure a minimum a 40% marks in the University conducted written examination, and 50% aggregate i.e. marks scored in the University conducted written examination and internal assessment (theory), added together. For a pass in practicals, a candidate has to secure a minimum of 40% of the marks in University conducted practical examination and 50% in aggregate, i.e. marks in University conducted practical examination and internal assessment (practical) added together.

    B. Subsidiary Subjects :
    For a pass in Subsidiary subjects, candidate shall secure 35% of the total marks prescribed for the subject.

    Declaration of class :

    1. A successful candidate obtaining 75% and more marks in the Grand Total Aggregate in the first attempt shall be declared to have passed these subjects with distinction. A successful candidate obtaining 60% and more but less that 75% of the marks in the Grand Total Aggregate in the first attempt shall be declared to have passed these subjects with First Class. A 60% of the marks in the Grand Total Aggregate in the first attempt shall be declared to have passed these subjects with First Class. A 60% of the marks in the Grand Total Aggregate in the first attempt shall be declared to have passed these subjects with Second Class and a candidate who passes in more than one attempt will be placed in Pass class irrespective of the percentage of marks secured.
    2. The marks obtained by a candidate in the subsidiary subjects shall not be considered for award of Class of Rank.
    3. Ranks shall be declared on the basis of the aggregate marks obtained by candidate in University subjects of course. Only those candidates who have passed all the subjects, in all examinations including the Univesity examination in the first attempt shall be eligible for the award of rank.

    Vacation and Holiday :

    Students are eligible for 30 days leave annually. This is arranged according to the convenience of the Institution and the Hospital Annual Vacation 30 Days per annum, Sick Leave 10 Days per annum, Preparatory Holidays 7 Days per annum. Students are entitled to avail ten days per annum, on medical ground which has to be certified by a registered allophatic Medical Practitioner authorized by the Institiution/Govt. Medical Practioner.

    Sick leave :

    Sick leave cannot be accumulated. If a student has availed more than above days, He/She is deemed to have discontinued studies during the present acadamic year and will be admitted to next acadamic year as a fresh candidate.If any student overshoots the prescribe leave He/She should submit an allopathic goverment doctor's certificate only.

    Withdrawal and Dsimissal :

    If any student decides to withdraw voluntarily from the course after the admission or thereafter or before completing the course, the student should pay back to the Institution all the expenses incurred on her/him by the institution.The institution has the right to dismiss/suspend any student whose work or conduct is not found satisfactory during the period of the course.

    Physiotherapy Department :

    Hosmat Hospital is having one of the best physiotherapy departments in India. Our physiotherapy unit is benefiting nearly 250 out patients per day and 30 to 40 in-patients daily. This is a 500 bedded multispeciality hospital. The renowned physiotherapy and occupational therapy department works in co-ordination with rehabilitation and convalescent centre and provides a major thrust in treating all kinds of orthopaedic injuries and neurological disorder such as fractures, joint stiffness, frozen shoulder, slipped disc, pinched nerve, paralytic stroke, head injuries brain tumors. The Sports Medicine facility is one of the best in the country. It is specialised in sports fitness testing and treatment of sports injuries.

    3. Rehabilitation and Nutrition.

    HOSMAT Sports Medicine Center conducts a 6-month Fellowship in Sports Medicine. The center has gained recognition and is on the exclusive panel of National Cricket Academy, Karnataka State Cricket Association, Karnataka State Football Association, Karnataka State Hockey Association, Bangalore Turf Club, Karnataka State Golf Association, Karnataka Olympic Association, Sports Authority of India etc...

    One of the exclusive facilities available at HOSMAT is a unique computerized isokinetic device called CYBEX that measures the strength and power of muscles of a sports person, Apart from CYBEX there are many other isokinetic devices for each joint.

    Hostel :

    Hostel accommodation is available for boys and girls separately. Admission are made on first come first serve basis.

    Discipline :

    The Institution expects a high degree of discipline from the students. The students should be dressed smartly, maintain time in all the chores assigned to them. Day scholar or hostelite found guilty of provoking, instigating, leading or participating in any strike or boyycott will be summarily dismissed.

    RADIOGRAPHY

    Radiography is a system of Health care Imaging which detects and diagnoses physiological dysfunctions using modalities such as X-rays Conventional X-rays and CT scan, ultrasound waves (sonography), and magnetic fields (M.R.I). In order to meet the growing demand for qualified and trained para medical personnel such training in B.Sc Radiography can be imparted to the eligible and interested students who after completion of their course should be able to accept a certain degree of responsibilities in their work under minimum supervision and thus constitute an important section of medical auxiliary personnel.

    These para medical personnel. Will be rendering valuable assistance in Health care delivery to the public at large including the vast rural segment of the population in terms of detection, diagnosis, treatement and prevention of diseases.

    Scope :

    The demand for radiography is very vast. The Government policy is to provide radiographic services in its three-tier health care delivery system. Radiographers have employment opportunities with speciality Hospitals in Government and private sectors.HOSMAT is very fortunate in learning an advanced MRI, Spiral Helical CT full Radiography, Colour Doppler and Ultrasonography, Bone Densitometry, Fluroscopy all under one roof.

    College Of Radiography :

    Name of the courses-
    The courses shall be called as Bachelor of science in Radiography( Radio diagnosis).

    Duration :

    B.Sc. Radiography (Radiodiagnosis)-3yrs. (Full time)

    Eligibility :

    Candidates for admission to the Bachelor of Science Radiography (RD) shall have passed
    (1) Pre university examination conducted by department of preuniversity education or any
        recognised state Board with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, & Mathematics as optional
        subjects. OR
    (2) Pre university courses from a recognised board with vocational course in Radiography/
        Radiology as vocational subject. OR
    (3) Any equivalent examination recognised by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences,
        Bangalore, for the purpose with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics
        as principal subjects
        of study.

    Medium of Insttruction :

    English shall be the medium of instruction for all subjects of study and for the examination of the Bsc-Radiography course.

    Attendance :

    A candidate is required to attend atleast 80 present of the total classes conducted in a year in all subjects preserved for that year, separately, in theory and practical.clinical to become eligible to appear for the university examination in the first attempt.

    Schedule Of Examination :

    There shall be two university examinations in an academic year, one regular and one supplementary examination. The supplementary examination. The supplementary examination will be held 4-6 months after the regular examination.

    Appearance for the Examination :

    (a) A candidate shall register for all the subjects of a year when he or she appears for the examinations of that year for
         the first time.
    (b) A candidate shall not be admitted to the practical examinations for the first time unless he or she produces to the
        examines at the time of university examinations, the class record book certified by the head of the department.
    (c) At subsequent practicals the marks awarded for the class records at the forst appearans in that subject will be taken for declaration of results.

    Criteria for pass :

    1) MAIN SUBJECTS : A candidate is declared to have passed the examination in a subject, if he/she secures 50 percent of the marks in theory and 50% in practicals separately for a pass in a subject in theory, a candidate has to secure a minimum of 40% in the university fonducted written examination, and 50% aggregate that is marks of the university conducted written examination, and internal assessment added written examination, and internal assessment added together and for a pass in practical a candidate has to secure a minimum of 40% marks in the university conducted practical examination and 50% in aggregate i.e University conducted practical and Internal Assessment(practical) added together.
    2) SUBSIDIARY SUBJECTS : The minimum prescribed marks for a pass in a subsidiary subjects shall be 35% of the maximum marks prescribed for a subjects. The marks scored by the university 15 days before commencement of the university Examination.

    Carry Over :

    I YEAR: The examination for "English" will be conducted by respective colleges. A candidate shall secure 35% of the total marks prescribed for a pass and is eligible to carry the subjects if he/she fails but has to pass the subject on/or before appearing for final year examination.A candidate who fails in any one of the three main subjects of I year is permitted to carry that subject to II year. However, such a candidate shall pass the carry over subject before appearing for II year examination and such a candidate is not permitted to proceed to III year of he/she does not pass the carry over subject.II YEAR: A candidate is permitted for a carry over of anyone subjects to the III year but shall pass this subject before appearing for the III year examination. A candidate is permitted to continue the course in old batch if he/she passes the subject in 2nd 4th and 6th etc attempt.

    Classification of successful candidates :

    Class/ Rank shall be declared for the first, second & third year examination on the basis of aggregate marks secured by a candidate at each of these examination.A successful candidate obtaining 75% and more marks in the grand total aggragate in the first attempt shall be declared to have passed this examination with Distinction a successful candidate obtaining 60% and more, and less than 75% of the marks in the grand total. Aggragate in the first attempt shall be declared to have passed the examination with first class. A successful candidate obtaining 50% and more, and less than 60% of the marks in the grand total. Aggregate in the first attempt shall be declared to have passed in second class and a candidate who passes in more than one attempt will be placed in pass class irrespective of the percentage of marks secured.

    Board of Examiners :

    Practical examination will be conducted by two examiners out of which one will be an exrternal examiner recognized by the university above purpose, preferably from outside the city limits.

    Vacation and Holiday :

    Students are eligible for 30 days leave annually. This is arranged according to the convenience of the Institution and the Hospital. Annual vocation 30 days per annum sick leave 10 days per Annum preparatory holidays 7 days per annum. Student are entitled to avail ten days per annum, on medical ground which has to be certified by a registered Allopathic Medical Practioner Authorised by the Institution or Government Medical Practioner.

    Sick leave :

    Sick leave cannot be accumulated no other leave entitled. If a student as availed more than the above days. He/She is deemed to have discontinued studies during the present academic year and will be admitted to the next academic year as a fresh candidate. No break - up leave for annual vacation if any student overshhoots the prescribed leave he/she should submit a Allopathic Government Hospital Doctors certificates only.

    WithDrawal And Dismissal :

    If any student decides to withdraw voluntarily from the course after the admission or thereafter of before completing the course. The student should pay back to the Institution all the expenses incurred on her/him by the institution.The institution has the right to dismiss or suspend any student whose work or conduct is not found satisfactory during the period of the course.

    OPERATION THEATRE

    This course is aimed at training students in the technological aspects of medical care with a good scientific foundation. These students will be in a position to competently assist the physician and surgeon, especially in high-tech medical procedures.
    A successful student will be in demand both within the country and outside as Allied Health Care personnel. With advanced training in the latest technologies in each medical specially, these graduates will play an important role in determining the quality of health care provided.

    Duration :

    3 ½ Years inclusive of Internship

    Eligibility :

    PUC/PDC with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects. Equivalence will be determined by the Rajiv Gandhi of Health Sciences.

    Attendance :

    Students must attend at least 80% of the total classes conducted in a year in all subjects prescribed for that year. They must have 80% attendance both in theory classes and in practicals/clinicals to become eligible to appear for the university examination in their first attempt.

    Discipline :

    1. Institution expects a high degree of discipline from the students. The students should be dressed smartly, maintain time in all the chores assigned to them.
    2. Students, day scholars and hostalites included, found guilty of provoking instigating, leading or participating in any strike or boycott will be summarily dismissed.

    Schedules :

    There will be two examinations in a year:
    1· An annual examination
    2· A supplementary examination to be conducted according to notifications by RGUHS

    Vacations and Holidays :
